I have always loved gardening, not just for the plants but also for the space to add artsy stuff. From sculptural pots and mosaic stepping stones to a grouping of bowling balls it all works in a garden. Always on the lookout for things to create, I thought new stucco buildings looked like blank canvases. Was it possible?
Fast forward now past the research and testing and I have created original paintings you can hang outside anywhere all year round.
Wonderfully textured with tinted stuccos that continue around the sides,
these paintings have dimension and a sculptural quality that looks right at
home outdoors. But complimentary to indoor spaces as well, especially humid places
where other art might not last such as spas, bathrooms and cottages.
Weatherproof- Canadian made exterior polymer stucco
Washable- use a scrub brush, garden hose and, if necessary any mild soap
Fade resistant-the colors are an integral part of the stucco and appear
more intense in the sun
Hang anywhere-on screws, hooks or brick clips by two non corroding plastic
brackets mounted in the back that keep them straight in the wind
Where
Complete an outdoor living space, hang on the wall behind the couch
just like indoors.
A splash of color for a wall or fence, brighten a dark corner ,add color to a winter garden no need to water.
Create a view out a window, whether it's 5 or 100 feet away the images are clear and visible.
Give a balcony or small garden a landscape, create the illusion of more space
I myself have found over 20 places in my yard that are perfect for a painting though sadly, not all at once that would be overkill ! But every outdoor space has the perfect spot for at least one.
